Number of questions: 90 multiple-choice questions
Passing score: 720 (on a scale of 900)
Allotted Time: 90 minutes
Validity of CompTIA Linux+: The credentials can be renewed by earning 50 Continuing Education Units (CEUs).
Eligibility Criteria: This certification does not require any previous educational experience as it has its own set of merits. However, a CompTIA A+ certification, CompTIA Network+ certification, and 12 months of Linux Admin experience is recommended to take the exam.
This exam can be taken in English (at launch) and Japanese, Portuguese, Spanish are coming soon. An applicant is required to create a Pearson VUE testing account after which it will be allotted a test center or taken online. Register for the exam here.
