First step to start with any certification should be your willingness in learning something new.

Initially, I completed Acloudguru video course. The video course is around 14 hrs so one hour each for 14-15 days will be enough to complete the course. Note that one should keep practice of writing the notes what the instructor is saying.

Next, the important part of completing the certification is to know about services, read about that particular services either on AWS website's or some third party blogs.

I have covered FAQs of some important services such as RDS, VPC, EC2, S3, SQS, Kinesis.

Having some hands-on experience in using this services will be an add on advantage. Make sure one go through the exam pattern once.

Lastly for 4-5 days I have given test on Whizlabs platform, the actual test was also of the same level with some twist but yes if your concepts are clear you can clear the test easily.
