Detailed Review Of Preparation

AWS Solution Architect - Associate certificate is my first cloud certificate.

Preperation period is very important. You should check the forums in order get some insight about the popular prep materials and suggestions. Also Udemy couse search with the highest rated ones will be very helpful. Especially the ones with the previews other than the introduction section. Also it's better to check the course taker's responses. Personally, I never select the instructors with accents or body moves because these are the sources of loosing focus on the subject.

Official Study Guide is not very detailed and seems like just to have a study guide to the test takers. So, I've tried also Ben Piper's book.

Besides these, I've bought Jon Bonso (Tutorials Dojo) practice exam set and this was very very helpful. Because it gives detailed explanations and the links to the official documentation which relates to the answer. Try to get  at least 70% to pass the real exam. I've tried AWS Practice Exam which consists of 25 questions and get 68% correct while I was getting 60% percent correct on Jon Bonso's test set. So, I've decided to schedule the exam and passed with the score of 797 (almost 79%). Comparing the AWS Practice Exam and Jon Bonso's test set was a good tactic :)

At last, I've been at test center 1 hour ago and I've walked 3 km around the center for being ready for the next 2 hours.
