Detailed Review Of Preparation

I recently took and passed the AZ-900 certification exam. My preparation to take the test was pretty straight forward and it took about 5 days. Here are the steps I followed:

1. Azure fundamentals learning path- I read through all the material to get an understanding of Azure's offerings and terminology. It took me about 5 hrs to read through everything.
2. A Cloud Guru AZ-900 course- acloud.guru is one of the best resources to use when preparing for these types of certs. I found the course (taught by Lars Klint) was organized and covered everything I needed to know. Additionally, the hands-on labs gave me the opportunity to get familiar with the Azure portal which was extremely valuable. 

I thought the test was pretty straightforward, but it required scenario-based knowledge vs. memorizing terminology. By using the 2 resources mentioned above, I was more than prepared to pass the exam.
