Detailed Review Of Preparation

I would like to share with you my journey to pass "aws cloud practitioner" exam from first trial.
1- Create AWS free account for practice.
2- Complete the 6 hours free course on AWS training website
3- There is a great course on udemy
4- The course contains 2 practical exams that you should practice with answer explanation.
5- Review the brief description of every service mentioned on the course on AWS website.

All the above should not take more than 1 month of preparation.

have a brief on the following:

AWS Concierge

IAM tasks required root account

AWS Inspector: security assessment, automatically assesses applications for vulnerability or deviation from best practice.

Bootstrapping: is the execution of automated actions to services such as EC2 and RDS. This is typically in the form of scripts that run when the instances are launched.

AWS Macie: fully managed data security and privacy, it uses machine learning to discover, monitor and help to protect sensitive data on S3 (recognize and categorize sensitive data)

AWS GuardDuty: threat detection service that monitor from malicious activity

AWS Certificate Manager (ACM): used to create and manage public SSL/TLS certificate

AWS Athena: SQL Query data in S3

Simple monthly calculator: helps customers and prospects to estimate their monthly bill more efficient (deprecated and will be replaced by pricing calculator)

TCO Calculator: estimate cost saving between AWS cloud vs on premise datacenter

Organizations and consolidated billings:

Cost allocation tags (must be enabled first):

AWS OpsWorks is a configuration management service that provides managed instances of Chef and Puppet. ... OpsWorks lets you use Chef and Puppet to automate how servers are configured, deployed, and managed across your Amazon EC2 instances or on-premises compute environments

AWS LightSail: Provides developers compute, storage, and networking capacity and capabilities to deploy and manage websites, web applications, and databases in the cloud.

CloudFormation: Provides a common language for you to describe and provision all the infrastructure resources in your cloud environment. It allows you to use a simple text file to model and provision, in an automated and secure manner, all the resources needed for your applications across all regions and accounts.

Amazon Route 53: services include domain registration, DNS, health checking (availability monitoring) and traffic management.

Reserved Instances (RI) provide a significant discount (up to 72%) compared to On-Demand pricing and provide a capacity reservation when used in a specific Availability Zone. The following types of RI are available:

Standard RIs: These provide the most significant discount (up to 75% off On-Demand) and are best suited for steady-state usage.

Convertible RIs: These provide a discount (up to 54% off On-Demand) and the capability to change the attributes of the RI as long as the exchange results in the creation of Reserved Instances of equal or greater value. Like Standard RIs, Convertible RIs are best suited for steady-state usage.

Scheduled RIs: These are available to launch within the time windows you reserve. This option allows you to match your capacity reservation to a predictable recurring schedule that only requires a fraction of a day, a week, or a month.

AWS NACL (Network access control list): applied on the subnet level
