Detailed Review Of Preparation

Since I took the 4.0 certification, the framework has changed a little and SAFe now offers 4.5. However, there is a little change in the preparation steps. Let me start off by saying, SAFe offers a lot of certifications. I choose this as I was a scrum master for a long time and the next logical step for our organization and me was to adopt safe and get certified. We are a big team and do not follow SAFe by the book and adopt what suits us the best. For the preparation I would recommend the below: 

1. You must take the 2 full day training of scaled agile framework. You can google for the nearest SAFe trainers that offers the training. The training can be expensive so bear that in mind. You have 30days to pass after the training.
2. Make sure you need to click through each and every page of scaledagileframework website. What helped me the most was that I took a printout of the diagrams on the homepage. If you understand those pics, you are good to go.
3. Important things to remember for the exam:
   
   • Ceremonies and PI Planning
   • WSJF, Cost of Delay
   • RTE, Value Stream
   • 9 SAFe principles and lean Agile mindset

The exam is closed book, 90minutes and you must get at least 34 answers right(75%) out of 45.
