    I prepared for the certification for around 90 days but then also couldn't clear the certification in my first attempt. Then I reviewed my weak points, worked upon that, learned the concepts where I was weak, and re-attempted the Exam after 4 weeks and was able to clear the exam with decent marks.

    If you are already a SFDC developer(atleast 1-2 years of Apex programming) - Get the exam outline and understand the weightage of questions on each area. - Trailhead.com has the trailmix which is good way of refreshing your skill. - There are many blogs available like sfdc99, salesforceben etc which are having good notes and sample questions to try out. - use the SFDC online documentation which is good enough. - As most of the questions are easy but options are confusing, so use the techniques to pick the correct one out of given choices. If you new to salesforce - Strictly use the trailmix mentioned in the trailhead.com for the certification.Sincerely complete the tryouts.
